About USAID LINC

The USAID Local Investment and National Competitiveness (LINC) Project is a specialized economic growth project, meant to increase the competitiveness of regions and territories through improved business regulation, improved firm productivity, increased strategic investment by innovative firms, solidified industrial value chains, better conditions for market transactions in land, and improved national legislation to support such competitiveness enhancements. The Project concentrates on creation and implementation of strategic competitiveness plans in economic sub-regions throughout the country, improvement of specific regional industrial sectors with high likelihood of success, and reform of the legislative framework to ensure unhampered trade, rational government procurement, land reform and regulatory efficiency. An increase in jobs and private sector investments in the Project’s partner territorial communities is the measure by which USAID LINC evaluates its ultimate success.
